I was going to blog politics today and how disturbed I was when I discovered that the price of my favourite chocolate bar had doubled (damn you world financial market!) but then I discovered these babies.

Looking at the reimagining I cant help but not be excited. Everything looks awesome - especially the updated costumes.

Technologically they look more like an updated version of the TOS films - the bridge looks incredible.

I for one cant wait till we see the new enterprise

THAT CAT!!!

Like most card carrying digital artists, I own a cat - a spoilt, orange furred Persian predator that spends most of it’s time marking its sent on my chair (my good chair), the carpet around my desk (and my good chair), and occasionally my wacom tablet (that thing which is my bread and butter with which I make my art).According to most experts, it was highly recommended that I neuter him - which I did.  And lo and behold, it didn’t work.

When he’s hungry, (which is whenever he’s not sleeping), he demands to be fed (which he tells me by biting me). 

When he’s not doing either he’s normally on some rampage, trashing the house, clawing and biting everything in sight.

The other day he finally got a chance to prove himself. Being a ˜bitey” cat, I figured, he finally had a chance to put his skills to work.

Last night, there was a large grasshopper in my TV room. A large green thing that size of Cuban cigar sitting there, plain as day on the carpet, as if it had no idea how it even got on the sixth floor of an apartment building. Realizing that I could finally make the cat earn it’s keep, I placed him right next to the green legged monster.

Thinking he’d try to kill it or even, paw and play with it, he instead ran out to the balcony, stood in front of his bowl, looked at me and said:

‘Mew!’
